Roof Jig Assembly
- Type of Works: Machining
- Project Name: Roof Jig Assembly
We produce some beautiful custom fabrications in our shop and this assemblable 40’ diameter carbon steel roof jig is a great example. The roof jig was designed to serve as a supportive skeleton and guide for the field construction of a large tank’s roof. When in use, the jig will have roof materials securely placed on top of it while each section of the roof is welded together. Once the roof has fully taken shape, holes and ports will be cut and flanges attached to accommodate piping, instruments and other attachments. The most elegant part of this fabrication was that it was designed to be disassembled for transport and easily reassembled in field. Upon receipt, our client was quite satisfied with this fine looking fabricated jig.
