Custom Fabrication Engineering and Industrial Design Services in Alberta and BC
When manufacturing custom products, quality is of the utmost importance.
For this reason, Enermax is one of the few custom manufacturers to staff a full-time fabrication engineering team to design and support production of our many technically sensitive projects. Their understanding of safety codes and practical product knowledge can help your team get the job done right. Typically, this expertise is offered as part of our manufacturing services, but if you are a customer in a bind, we are happy to help.
Our team also works collaboratively with customers to interpret drawings, refine engineering specifications, and improve manufacturability before fabrication begins. This proactive approach helps resolve technical challenges early and supports faster, more confident project decisions.
Manufacturing pressurized vessels in a wide variety of materials and conditions means that we create new welding procedures frequently. We currently have over one-hundred approved procedures and that number is always growing specific to our clients needs. If we do not already have the welding procedure required for your product we will get it.
As part of our industrial fabrication engineering solutions, every project starts with a detailed review of drawings, codes, and performance requirements. We then develop custom inspection test plans tailored to each build, helping ensure quality, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
We can get the certification your vessel requires. We build certified equipment for customers around the world. Our engineering and quality assurance team will get the proper accreditation for your product.
Because we operate with the responsiveness of a smaller shop, we can adapt quickly to design revisions and production changes without sacrificing control. That flexibility allows us to complete custom projects in as little as eight weeks when scope, materials, and approvals align.
We have a battery of tests that we have conducted on our manufactured products and fabrication materials specific to the requirements of each piece produced. We frequently have the following tests and inspections conducted both in-house and by third parties:
- Radiographic Testing
- Ultrasonic Testing
- Liquid Penetrant Inspection
- Visual Inspection
- Hydro Testing
- Pneumatic Testing
- Magnetic Particle Inspection
- Charpy Impact Testing
