From childhood tinkering to submersible propulsion, Charles Humphrey’s career has been a journey of engineering passion. He’s not just an engineer; he’s an architect of innovative solutions.

His path began with honours, leading him to Europa Engineering where he honed pressure vessel and piping design skills. An academic explorer, he then graduated with distinction in Mechanical Engineering and joined Enermax Fabricators, expanding their horizons.

The ocean called, and Charles earned a Master’s in Naval Architecture, mastering submersible design and propulsion. He even pioneered a new system with the C-SCOUT AUV team, sharing his knowledge as a professor.

Back in British Columbia, he led Mountain Manufacturing’s growth, transforming it from a small shop to a diversified player. Today, at Enermax Mountain Manufacturing, he tackles challenging design projects, pushing boundaries to meet evolving needs. His passion for engineering fuels him and his team, propelling them to new heights.
